This week marks the first anniversary of Ninjala on Nintendo Switch. To celebrate, GungHo Online Entertainment hosted a special show where it revealed what awaits the game. To begin with, the developer announced a special collaboration with the anime and manga series. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
This themed event will take place from July 19 to August 30 and will include many new items. There are new clothes and character hairstyles based on Demon Slayer, different skins for weapons, new emotes and much more. There will also be an in-game collaboration tournament.
Prior to that, Ninjala will also be hosting their anniversary tournament on July 17th. This event will take place simultaneously in all regions and allow players to compete against each other by collecting special points. The top four players will receive special rank exclusive rewards such as emotes and decorations.
GungHo also shared a roadmap – outlining what’s in store for Ninjala in Season 6. This season only started recently and you can learn more about it in our previous article.
And if that’s not enough, GungHo has announced that Season 7 is on its way. It will introduce a brand new Featured Battle known as “Last Ninja Standing” and Visual Lobbies (more than 8 players can enter the stage):
